Saskatoon Police arrested a man yesterday afternoon, in connection to an attempted theft.

At approximately 2:00 p.m., November 18, 2019, Patrol members were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue B North for a report of an unknown problem. Officers learned that a male suspect had reportedly been observed attempting to steal items from a business. When confronted by an employee, the man threatened to harm the employee and fled. Officers located the male suspect in an alley near Avenue C North and 38th Street West, matching the very distinct description provided by witnesses. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. In his possession, Police located methamphetamine and syringes.

A 20 year old man is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. He was also found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.
