Hit And Run- 22nd St/Ave P

The traffic restrictions at the intersection of 22nd St W/Ave P S have been lifted.

The pedestrian that was injured is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

The Collision Analyst Unit continues to investigate and at this time no charges have been laid.

Saskatoon Police are at the scene of a hit and run involving a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle at 22nd St W/Ave P S.

Patrol officers came across a 40 year old male laying in the middle of the street at 12:16a.m., on December 10, 2019. It's believed the pedestrian was crossing the street on the walk way and struck by a vehicle travelling south bound on Ave P S from 22nd St. The male suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services in stable condition.

While officers were at scene, it's believed the offending vehicle and driver returned.

The roadway is being blocked at this time for all south bound traffic on Ave P S from 22nd St W and ends just prior to 21st St W. The restrictions will be in place while members from the Collision Analyst Unit investigate.
