Police are investigating following a stabbing early this morning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At around 2:00 a.m. on April 30, 2026, police were called to the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located the 26-year-old male victim suffering from a stab wound. Through investigation, officers learned that a confrontation had occurred between two parties outside of a business before the victim was stabbed and the suspects fled.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(Occurrence Number: 26-56876)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Two youth are facing charges after a traffic stop resulted in the seizure of firearms yesterday afternoon. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Shortly after 4:00 p.m., April 28, 2026, a patrol officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after being notified the license plate was expired. Further investigation determined that a passenger had a warrant, and upon his arrest was found to have an air soft pistol in his backpack. Another occupant of the vehicle was also found in possession of a sawed-off rifle and ammunition. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A 15-year-old male is charged with Careless Use of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession in Motor Vehicle, Possession of Firearm with Ammunition, and Prohibited Possession of Firearm. The Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit recently concluded two commercial vehicle check stop initiatives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On April 16th and 22nd, officers from the Traffic Unit and Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan alongside vehicle equipment regulation technicians conducted commercial vehicle inspections in the north end of Saskatoon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Over the two days, a total of 113 vehicle were stopped for inspection resulting in the following enforcement action;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;63 tickets issued&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;47 warnings issued&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;73 vehicle and trailer violations identified&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;25 vehicles and trailers were seized, towed, or taken out of service&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;1 driver found to be impaired by drugs&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;1 vehicle impounded due to the driver travelling 50 km/h over the posted speed limit&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Saskatoon Police Service thanks members of the public for their accommodation during these traffic safety initiatives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit is investigating following an aggravated assault with a machete Sunday night.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On April 26, 2026 at around 8:55 p.m., police were dispatched to a robbery in progress outside a business in the 1100 block of Idylwyld Drive North. It was reported that a male was assaulted and robbed with a machete and two suspects fled the scene.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Upon police arrival, officers located a 26-year-old man with what were believed to be serious injuries consistent with an assault with a weapon. Officers provided medical care until paramedics arrived and transported the man to hospital.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the suspects is described as male and was wearing a black camo hoodie, blue jeans, black and white Nike shoes, and gold chains. The other suspect is described as male and was wearing a green camo hoodie, black pants and dark coloured shoes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate and anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300. The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating a missing 31-year-old.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kaitlin Musgrave was last seen in the Riversdale neighbourhood and she has not been heard from since April 11, 2026. Kaitlin is described as female, 5’1, approximately 152 pounds, with long dark brown hair, and brown eyes. She has tattoos of a cross and a heart on her right fingers and roses on her inner right forearm. At this time no last known clothing description is available. Saskatoon Police arrested one man following a break and enter where a vehicle was stolen over the weekend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At approximately 12:15 a.m. on April 26, 2026, officers were called to a business in the 300 block of Confederation Drive for a report of a break and enter. Call information stated a window had been broken and the overhead door to a shop had been opened.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Officers arrived on scene and through their investigation were able to view video surveillance of the incident. Video showed the suspect break a window and enter the shop before stealing a vehicle and fleeing the scene.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A few hours later, officers located the vehicle in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North where the suspect was arrested without further incident. One man is facing multiple charges following an incident where a stolen vehicle evaded police late Saturday night.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On April 25, 2026 at around 11:30 p.m. while conducting routine patrols in the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue I North, officers located a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Officers were quickly able to confirm the vehicle had been stolen and initiated their vehicle’s emergency lights as the suspect vehicle travelled northbound on Circle Drive; it did not stop for police.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Officers continued to follow the vehicle to 45th Street West where a tire deflation device was successfully deployed; however, the vehicle continued to evade. A police vehicle was then used to bring the suspect vehicle to a stop on Highway 16. Officers from the Saskatoon Police Service and Corman Park Police Service observed three occupants inside the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not comply with police commands and a conducted energy weapon (CEW) was discharged by police.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All three occupants were then arrested without further incident. Officers then observed what were believed to be self-inflicted injuries on the driver of the vehicle and provided life-saving measures until paramedics arrived and transported the man to hospital for further medical treatment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The 36-year-old man has been charged with evading police, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property over $5000, and breaching court-imposed conditions (x3).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;(Court Information Number(s): 991337031, 991337032)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(Occurrence Number: 26-54812)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Saskatoon man with child exploitation related offences.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On January 13, 2026, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Saskatoon. Electronic devices were examined at scene and also seized by investigators.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a result of the investigation, 47-year-old Devin Richard Hough of Saskatoon was arrested and charged on April 21, 2026 with;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;	&lt;li&gt;Possessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (x2)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hough appeared in court on April 22, 2026 and was released with court-imposed conditions. His next court date is scheduled on May 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Saskatoon Provincial Court.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;(Court Information Number: 991334579)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident in which several people were bear sprayed Tuesday evening.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At approximately 10:20 p.m., April 22, 2026, Police were called to the 100 block of Bowlt Crescent, where a Saskatoon Transit bus was stopped.  The driver and several passengers reported being sprayed by a male as they stepped off the bus.  The suspect then fled on foot.  The victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The male suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie, grey pants and a face covering.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone with information is asked to contact the SPS at 306-975-8300 and Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(Occurrence Number: 26-52140)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
