IT Summer Student

Duties:

1. Image, inventory and deploy desktop computers and other equipment to corporate SPS users.
2. Schedules deployment times with users and follows up after equipment is replaced.
3. Surplus and dispose expired desktop computers or other equipment.
4. Prepares and deploys replacement printers and multi-function printers.
5. Assists the IT Service Desk as required.
6. Prepares and updates existing documentation.
7. Provides daily status updates on work completed.
8. Performs other related general duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 education.
• Experience in computer operations. 
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of current operating practices and techniques.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic principles and structures of operating systems.
• Knowledge of effective customer service practices.
• Ability to pass the Saskatoon Police Service security clearance process.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Salary:

$39,115.92 to $43,125.12 per annum (2026 rates)
