A man is facing charges after Police Officers observed him assault another man on Saturday night.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., October 24, 2020, patrol officers were in the 100 block of 109th Street West on general patrol duties when they observed a fight occurring between several individuals. Officers further observed one man assault another man while he was on the ground. The 31-year-old was immediately taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault.

The 32-year-old victim was transported to hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

This incident is not believed to be random.
