A 45 year old man is in custody following a fire at an automotive business.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., October 28, 2025, Police were called to the business in the 1600 block of Idylwyld Drive North. Bystanders had reported seeing vehicles on fire at the location. The Saskatoon Fire Department attended to the scene and extinguished the blaze. Officers were able to identify a suspect and later located him nearby.

No one was injured in the fire.

The 45 year old man is facing a charge of Arson and is expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court this afternoon.
