A man was arrested after police responded to a break and enter in progress on Friday evening.

At approximately 7:00 p.m., March 6, 2026, police responded to the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North after it was reported a male was observed on surveillance video entering a secure construction site and believed to still be inside. A Canine Unit attended and located the male attempting to hide from police. He was treated at the scene for injuries consistent with a dog bite and transported to SPS Detention.

A 30-year-old male is charged with Break and Enter, breaching of court-imposed conditions, and also had a warrant that was executed upon his arrest. (Court Info # 991332357)
