Police are investigating after bear spray was discharged on a city bus last night.

At around 10:45 p.m. on March 25, 2026, police were called to a stationary city bus in the area of Auditorium Avenue and 22nd Street East for a report of bear spray being discharged. Upon arrival, officers learned that a large group of youth were on the bus and began arguing. As some began exiting the bus at Auditorium Avenue and 22nd Street East, bear spray was discharged and the involved parties fled in several directions.

Members of Patrol are continuing to investigate.
