An individual was arrested following a confrontation on a city bus yesterday.

At around 10:30 a.m. on March 25, 2026, police were called to a stationary city bus in the 200 block of 23rd Street East for a report of a confrontation involving a weapon. Upon arrival, officers located the involved parties and determined that a confrontation had occurred between them. No injuries were reported; however, one of the involved persons was found to be in possession of a hatchet.

As a result, the 20-year-old individual was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon.
