Police are investigating following a report of an injured person last night.

At around 11:45 p.m. on March 25, 2026, police were called to the 400 block of Avenue S South for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from multiple injuries. Further investigation determined that he had been assaulted with a bladed weapon in a nearby residence before the suspects fled the area. The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown if the suspect and victim were known to one another.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
