Saskatoon Police responded to a reported assault early Sunday morning.

At approximately 4:40 a.m. on March 29, 2026, police were called to the 1000 block of 8th Street East for a report of a male who had been injured by a bladed weapon.

Officers quickly arrived on scene and located the 38-year-old victim with non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by paramedics for further medical care. Officers learned the man was allegedly assaulted by two unknown males; police searched the area for the suspects but were not successful.
