Saskatoon Police are investigating in relation to an aggravated assault this morning.

On March 31, 2026 at around 3:40 a.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of Avenue C South for a report of an injured person. Further information outlined a female victim had allegedly been assaulted with a machete and the suspect was not at the scene.

Officers quickly arrived on scene and located the 32-year-old woman; she was transported to hospital by paramedics with what were later determined to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
