One man was arrested following the conclusion of a drug trafficking investigation by the Drug Unit.
At around 7:00 p.m. on March 27, 2026, members of the Tactical Support Unit effected the arrest of a 34-year-old man as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Following his arrest, two search warrants were executed at addresses in the 200 block of Willis Crescent and 1600 block of 7th Street East with the assistance of members from the Crime Reduction Team, Vice Unit, and Guns and Gangs Unit where the following evidentiary seizures were made;
- 4177 grams of powdered cocaine
- 212 grams of crack cocaine
- 609 grams of fentanyl
- 9061 grams of methamphetamine
- $31,500+ CAD
- Hydraulic press and packaging materials
As a result, the accused is facing several charges in relation to drug trafficking and possession of counterfeit identity documents.
