Arrest - Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit Investigation

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Gull Lake man with child exploitation related offences.

On June 16, 2026, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a Search Warrant at a home in Gull Lake, SK. Electronic devices were examined at scene and also seized by investigators.

As a result of the investigation, 25-year-old Tyson Randy Goertz was arrested and charged on June 16, 2026 with the following:

  • Possessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
  • Making Available Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
  • Distributing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material

Goertz appeared in court on June 16, 2026 and was released with court-imposed conditions. His next court date is July 22, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in Swift Current Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.
