Saskatoon Police are investigating a shooting that occurred last night.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., August 27, 2026, patrol officers responded to an unknown problem at a residence in the 300 block of 1st Street East. Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital in what is believed to be stable condition.

Members of the SPS Serious Assault Unit are investigating.
