Police are investigating after a firearm was discharged into a residence early this morning.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on September 3, 2026, police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Avenue V South for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers determined a firearm had been discharged into the residence from outside. One woman was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries from broken glass.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
