Police are investigating following an aggravated assault overnight.

On September 21, 2026 at around 12:20 a.m., police were called to the 300 block of Avenue M South for a report of an injured man that had been assaulted.

Arriving officers located a 41-year-old man with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was transported to hospital by paramedics for further medical treatment.

Officers arrested a 43-year-old man on scene, but he was later released pending further investigation.
