A man is facing charges following an impaired driving investigation over the weekend.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m., February 8, 2026, patrol officers responded after a Honda Civic was reported to have struck a fence and shed in the 100 block of Nokomis Crescent before the driver fled on foot. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with significant damage abandoned in the middle of the street. A suspect description was obtained and the male was located a short distance away.

The 23-year-old is charged with Refusal, and issued a ticket for Hit and Run.
