One man was arrested following an evade police incident early this morning.
Shortly after 12:00 a.m. on October 7, 2026, police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 19th Street West and Avenue T South when it began to flee at a high rate of speed. Following a brief evade police incident, the driver exited the vehicle and began to flee on foot. After a brief foot chase, the suspect was arrested in the 100 block of Avenue N South.
As a result, the 25-year-old Saskatoon man was charged with Dangerous Driving and Evading Police. Through continued investigation, officers determined he was also a suspect in another investigation and further charged him with an additional charge of Evading Police, Hit and Run, Impaired Driving, and Exceeding .08.
