Four men have been charged following an investigation by the General Investigations Section.
On December 5, 2025, police received a report from an individual that three men had pointed a gun at him and threatened him with violence. Through investigation, it was learned that the same men had committed a robbery in Moose Jaw, SK on December 4th and were conspiring to commit another robbery in Saskatoon. Later that same day, officers arrested one of the three suspects; the additional two were believed to have fled to Calgary, AB. Following ongoing investigation, the two outstanding suspects were arrested on December 24th after a brief evade police incident as they attempted to re-enter Saskatoon. Further investigation later revealed a fourth suspect leading to his arrest and the recovery of long guns on February 11, 2026.
As a result of continued investigation, search warrants were subsequently executed on two vehicles and two residences resulting in the following evidentiary seizures;
- Honcho 12-gauge shotgun
- MP40 .22 rifle
- SKS 7.62 x 39 long gun
- 24 rounds of SKS ammunition
- 3 empty stripper clips
- Approximately $25,000 worth of stolen vape products
- Handgun
- Knife
- Bear spray
- Zip ties and rope
All four men, age 33, 27, and two age 22, are facing an assortment of charges relating to weapons, conspiring to commit robbery, evading police, and intimidation of a justice system participant.
