One woman was arrested following a report of an assault on the weekend.

At around 7:15 p.m. on February 21, 2026, police were called to an apartment unit in the 100 block of Avenue X South for a report of an attempted stabbing. The suspect was reported to have fled the unit. Upon arrival, officers located a woman matching the suspect description in the lobby of the apartment building; she was arrested without incident. Further investigation found that the suspect had attempted to stab the victim before a struggle ensued and the suspect was disarmed of the knife. The suspect and victim were known to one another.

As a result, the 29-year-old woman has been charged with assault with a weapon.
