Arrest - Robbery - 300 Block Shillington Crescent

A man is facing charges after using a knife in a robbery yesterday evening.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., February 24, 2026, police received a report of a robbery-in-progress at a liquor store in the 300 block of Shillington Crescent. Police learned a male had entered the store and threatened staff with a knife before fleeing on foot with a bottle of liquor. He was located and arrested a short distance away.

Further investigation identified the male as also being responsible for two additional robberies, one in the 1600 block of 33rd Street West earlier in the day, and another in the 500 block of Wellman Crescent on February 21, 2026.

The 31-year-old man is charged with Robbery, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and breaching court-imposed conditions. (Court Info # 991331191)
